EzyTreev was there flying the flag at the ISA Conference 2004, 'Strategic Tree Risk Management' held at Château Impney, Worcestershire. It was a great opportunity to meet up with existing users and old friends, as well as meeting new contacts within the industry.
EzyTreev once again generated plenty of interest, with our new TPO system creating lots of feed back, as did the speed and capacity of our ever expanding Pocket PC software.
The main discussion throughout the conference was regarding 'Risk' and how to affectively record and monitor a 'trees risk'.
Over the years we have had several discussions with our existing users as to how they would like to record risk within the EzyTreev system. Most of the time individuals have their own ideas of the details they want to record, and this has been achieved within the system.
For further details of how EzyTreev records and monitors 'risks' look out for our forthcoming White Paper 'Ezytreev and Tree Risk Management'. Also at the conference, we had a 'boxed bottle' to give away in a prize draw, and the lucky winner was Steve Cox from TreeCall Consulting in Dorset.. ..everyone expected it to be Whiskey, but Sue from our Administration and Accounts department fooled you all by choosing a lovely bottle of Port!
Finally we would like to express our thanks, as exhibitors, to the 'ISA Committee'. Apart from being in pleasant surroundings, the overall atmosphere at the conference was relaxed and enjoyable. We can sometimes be made to feel like a 'necessary evil' when attending some events, but at this conference we felt part of the proceedings and very much valued.
