Specification Requirements

EzyTreev is a 32-bit Windows application and requires Windows NT/2000 or Windows 95/98/ME to run. Minimum recommended PC specification is a 64Mb 500Mhz Pentium PC for Windows NT/2000 or a 32Mb 350Mhz Pentium for Windows 95/98/ME

Graphics Cards

For EzyMap, the EzyTreev mapping system, a high performance graphics card is recommended with a 17" or larger monitor, using a resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels x 256 colours. Maps may be printed in monochrome or colour, at any standard size and scale, on any Windows compatible printer or plotter.

Single/Multi Users

The system is available in as a single version or a 'multi-user' version for use over a PC network. The system also allows data to be stored on remote SQL database server, as an alternative to traditional 'file server' based network systems.

Data Collection Interface

The interface to the data collection system is provided either via the users existing PC network cabling, utilising the pen machine docking, or via an external USB Flash RAM Card drive.

GIS Systems

EzyTreev has been designed in conjunction with the EzyMaps system, to provide the user with total flexibility of map/tree data interaction. However, EzyTreev can be linked to the majority of GIS systems through various options, e.g. ESRI shape files, MapInfo TAB files, direct ODBC links, etc. Direct integration with MapInfo and ArcView/Info are also available.

Customisation

The system provides a 'modular' approach to the management of trees, therefore, enabling flexibility and customisation. Additional modules are available and may be added to the standard EzyTreev system as requirements develop.
